As an intern at Aspire Bakeries, you won't just be an observer - you will be a valued part of our team, contributing to the creation of our beloved La Brea Bakery breads and Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, muffins, and cakes that bring joy to millions every day. In this role, you will learn the functionality of a corporate workplace, learn how to draft communications in corporate lingo and help automate processes for current communications.

You will also have a critical role in further enhancing the internship program.

Accountabilities (Whatyou'llbe doing):

• Execute on assigned communications projects with detail, organization, and creativity

• Support daytoday communications operations with strong organization, attention to detail, and creativity

• Draft internal articles, announcements, and corporate communication pieces in partnership with Internal Communications

• Plan and execute
  
  Los Angeles Headquarters engagement and philanthropy events

• Offer insights and recommendations from the intern perspective to enhance the Internship Program experience

Potential Projects:

• Write and publish feature stories for the intranet highlighting teams, events, or initiatives

• Produce afull yearofcontent forcalendarcommunications.

• Design and execute a LAHQ philanthropy event from concept throughdayofsupport

• Assistin planning LAHQ engagement events

• Support Internship Program planning

Minimum Qualifications(What you bring to the table):

• Currently pursuing aBachelor's degree in business, communications, or marketing;undergrad preferred

• GPA of 3.0 or higher

Program Eligibility:

• Must be able to work full-time for a minimum of11consecutive weeks

• Must be able to work from the LA HQ,Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work remotely each Friday

• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening with satisfactory results

Hourly Rate:$25.00
