Community Manager - Los Angeles

At Picnic, we’re reinventing the way employees experience lunch  partnering with top local restaurants and batching hundreds of orders, we make it easy for companies to offer high‑quality, individually packed meals, without fees or tips. We’re looking for an energetic, people‑loving Community Manager to help grow Picnic’s presence in LA. You’ll be at the center of everything—building relationships with restaurants, engaging with our eaters, and running local marketing efforts to drive awareness and adoption.

This is a great role for someone early in their career (recent grad welcome!) who’s organized, outgoing, and ready to hustle.

• Customer Engagement: Be the point of contact for companies and employees using Picnic. Ensure a smooth experience and help drive repeat usage.
• Local Marketing: Plan and execute grassroots marketing—flyering, pop‑ups, sampling, events, and whatever else you dream up to make Picnic known in your city.
• Content & Social: Help shape the local brand voice and content if you’re creatively inclined.
• Restaurant Partnerships: Build strong relationships with our local restaurant partners—check in regularly, gather feedback, and ensure they’re set up for success.
• On‑the‑Ground Insights: Be our eyes and ears in the market—share ideas, trends, and feedback with the broader team.

• Recent grad from a top university
• You’ve organized events before (college clubs, campus events, non‑profits, etc.).
• You’re a natural connector—warm, confident, and great at building relationships.
• Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects at once.
• Comfortable with data (Google Sheets, dashboards) and making decisions from it.
• You’re excited about startups, food, and bringing people together.

What else you need to know

This role is based in our Los Angeles office location. As a company driven by innovation and continuous change, close collaboration is essential. We’re constantly reimagining our industry, creating new products, and refining our processes, and we do our best work together. That’s why all of our office‑based teams work onsite, five days a week.

The base starting rate for this role is $30/hr
.

Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
