Are you ready to make a significant impact on young people's lives and our community's future? As the Director of Development, you will be at the forefront of transforming lives by leading the effort to secure vital funding and support for Junior Achievement of Southern California (JASoCal). You will harness your expertise and network within the Southern California business and philanthropic community to develop and implement strategic funding initiatives.
By stewarding and growing our existing funder relationships and driving strategies to acquire new donors, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term success of JASoCal.
Reporting directly to the CEO, your leadership and vision will be instrumental in achieving and surpassing our annual fundraising goals, ultimately empowering the next generation of leaders and innovators.
Join us in this dynamic, revenue-generating role and become a catalyst for change, helping to build a brighter future for the youth of Los Angeles. The Director of Development will manage philanthropic relationships with individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
ESSENTIAL TRAITS- Excellent Communication

Develop and steward relationships with key funders, board members, volunteers, and JASoCal constituents to expand the corporate, event, and grant funding base. Oversee the fulfillment of strategic partnership deliverables and collaborate with internal stakeholders for - Representation:
Serve as a JASoCal representative to community and business organizations, conferences, and meetings to network and present on behalf of - Financial Health:
Strengthen the organization's long-term financial health by researching, connecting with, and securing corporate, government, and philanthropic prospects while stewarding existing - Strategic Planning:
Develop quantifiable goals, objectives, and strategies tied to the JASoCal Strategic Plan, focusing on diversifying revenue - Cross
Collaboration:
Collaborate with funding sources and internal teams, working closely with the CEO, COO, and Advancement Team to provide regular internal feedback and address organizational - Partnerships and Grants:
