Occupational Health LVNneeded for a full-time temp contractopportunity with Yoh’s well-known client located in Chatsworth, CA.

This clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees. Must be comfortable working autonomously as you will be the only medical professional onsite. Job is to cover a leave of absence starting ASAP (June 2nd) and will be ongoing until further notice (no set end date as of yet).

SHIFTS:

Monday-Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm


Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active/unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in state of California
• Minimum(2) years’ experience as a Nurse
• Prefer experience in:
  
  Occupational Health, Emergency Room,Urgent Care, Corrections, School Nursing, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or Family Practice typesetting
• Computer skills (charting, emails, scheduling, etc)
• Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Triage and provide nursing services or arrange for higher level of care to employees who become ill or suffer a workplace injury
• Basic first-aid (ie headaches, cuts, scrapes, etc)
• Promote health/wellness
• Blood pressure checks
• Biometric screenings
• Coordinate/scheduletelemedicine visits
• Telephonic triage
• Respond to medical emergencies

• BLS/CPR certified
• Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace
