RN - ICU

The Charge Nurse in the ICU will oversee patient care and ensure the delivery of high-quality medical treatment. This role requires extensive experience with critically ill patients, including those in specialized ICU settings such as Surgical, Trauma, Shock, or Neuro ICU. The clinician will be responsible for guiding nursing staff, managing patient care operations, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

• Supervise and manage nursing staff within the ICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and implement care plans
• Foster interdisciplinary teamwork and coordination
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide documentation as required
• Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards in the unit

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with charge experience required
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS
• Ability to float between similar units as needed
• Experience in management of dysrhythmias, ventilator management, and care of ventilated patients is essential
