A1 Placement is seeking a compassionate and community-focused Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide primary care services in a mobile clinic setting for our FQHC client.
This role focuses on delivering accessible, patient-centered care to underserved populations, including seniors and individuals facing barriers to traditional healthcare access.
This position offers a flexible, mission-driven opportunity to make a meaningful impact in community health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care services in a mobile clinic environment
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma
- Order and interpret basic laboratory tests
- Prescribe medications as appropriate under clinical protocols
- Provide preventive care services and health education
- Maintain accurate patient records using the partner FQHC electronic health record (EHR) system
- Collaborate with medical assistants, patient intake staff, and the supervising physician
- Support referrals to specialty care and community resources when needed
The mobile clinic serves underserved communities across Los Angeles
, helping improve access to primary and preventive healthcare services.
- Approximately 2-3 clinic days per week
- Typical clinic day: 7-8 hours of patient care
- Locations rotate across community sites in Los Angeles County (Mobile Clinic)
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Active and Unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner license
- Current DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
- Experience in primary care, community health, or mobile health preferred
- Comfort working in community-based settings
- Strong interpersonal and patient education skills
- Commitment to serving underserved populations
- Competitive hourly rate: $100–$120/hour (depending on experience)
