Weekend Licensed Vocational Nurse; LVN - Hospice

Overview

Weekend Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Hospice. Pay: $30 - $38 per hour. Job Type: Part Time, Weekends. Buena Vista Hospice (BV) serves the Ventura and Los Angeles Counties in California. BV’s culture is guided by core values:

• Implement the plan of care initiated by the registered nurse.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care.
• Collect assessment data and perform observation to report to and collaborate with RN(s) and physician(s).
• Participate in coordination of home health services with an interdisciplinary team.
• Use equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently.
• Participate in personal and professional growth and development.

• Valid CA Licensed Vocational Nurse License.
• Maintain a current CPR certification.
• IV Certification Required.
• 2+ years of experience working in direct patient care.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in good working order.
