** Qualifications*
* Qualifications:
Education:
+ BSN (Bachelor of Science, Nursing) required
License/
Certifications:
+ Current, unrestricted California RN license required
+ Nursing Certification required. Specialized certification in pediatrics or cardiology preferred.
+ ACLS or ALS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required. Additional PALS certification preferred.
Experience:
+ A minimum of 5 years of Cardiac nursing experience required
+ Experience caring for pediatric and congenital heart disease patients in an ambulatory, inpatient, or procedural setting preferred.
+ Charge Nurse experience preferred
+ Must be a Clinical Nurse III for at least 1 year to be promoted within the clinical ladder
