Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in labor and delivery units during night shifts. Ensure safety and support for mother and newborn throughout delivery processes. Adapt to multiple facility environments as required.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to laboring women, monitoring fetal and maternal well-being.
• Administer medications and perform clinical assessments per unit protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth delivery and postpartum procedures.
• Float between facilities as needed, maintaining flexibility and clinical competence.
• Comply with hospital fire and life safety standards and institutional policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess recent experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Maintain AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be willing to float facilities and adapt to different clinical environments.
• Have current hospital fire and life safety certification.
• Provide preferred start date, RTO, DOB, and SSN upon application.
