Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California.

13 weeks - 36 hours per week
- Shift:
12 hours, nights - Employment Type:
Travel
- Number of beds: 13 labor beds, 3 OR suites (5 total), 6 bed triage, 4 bed recovery, 4 bed PACU
- Ratios: 1:2, 1:3 antepartum
- Nursing support:
Surg techs for surgeries and LVNs - Common diagnoses:
Laboring, hypertensive disorders, diabetes, complications by fetal abnormalities, high risk pregnancies - Specialty equipment:
Blood warmers, rapid infusers, bear huggers - Float requirements:
Can float but not mandatory to M&B
- Savvy newborn care postpartum needed - must have strong immediate care after delivery!
- Resilience
- Be familiar with maternal/fetal triage index
- 4-5 years of experience ideally
- Travel experience preferred but not required
- RTO: 7 days or less
