RN Nurse Manager – Clinical Education

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This full‑time position oversees our clinical programs and 8‑10 Clinical Educators.

• Direct an education program for the enhancement of practice, education, administration, research, and theory development built on the varied education and experience of nursing staff.
• Collaborate with the regional and divisional nursing education team to establish goals and participate in shaping the vision and strategic plan for the ministry.
• Set nursing practice standards for the continued advancement of nursing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate continuity of patient care across the continuum.
• Participate in Magnet recognition initiatives and support Magnet program efforts.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or Education preferred.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• Minimum 6 years of related work experience in Clinical Education.
• Minimum 4 years of leadership experience.

• Experience leading programs and project management.
• NPD-BC Certification (Nursing Professional Development – Board Certified).

Location:

Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center – Burbank, CA. Pay Range: $74.54 - $117.65 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
