Overview

Hours:

7:00pm - 7:30am. Must be able to work 3x12 shifts per week and weekends and holidays. There are no fixed schedules.

Purpose Statement/

Position Summary:

The Care Partner provides patient and administrative support to Nursing staff as necessary. Patient Care responsibilities include vital signs, measurements (intake, output, drain output, height, weight, head circumference), etc.

6 East is a 32- bed medical/surgical unit that provides high quality post- operative nursing care for simple, complex and specialized surgical procedures for the specialties of orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, plastics, ENT, urology and general surgery.

Minimum Qualifications /

Work Experience:

Able to write, speak fluently and understand English. 1+ year previous experience as a PCSA, Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Nursing Student Applicants:
Completion of pediatric rotation preferred.

Education/Licensure/

Certifications:

High School graduate and American Heart Association BLS required.

Pay Scale Information

$47,840.00-$48,880.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
