Charge Nurse
The Charge Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to the pre-op through discharge from the Center. Sets and manages staffing schedule oversees the day to day operational flow of patient care. Serves as a resource for clinical questions and patient care related issues as they arise. Works closely with the Administrator/Clinical Director Nurse Manager Medical Director and all staff.
Provides leadership through example and sets the pace for an efficient quality care focused team oriented endoscopy center. Maintains a survey ready state.
Qualifications:
Education:
Assoc. Degree/College Diploma - minimum
Bachelor's Degree Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing - preferred
Experience:
5 years Nursing patient care experience - preferred
1 year RN leadership experience - minimum
1 year Experience in a hospital ASC Cath Lab IR or ICU Setting - required
Licenses and
Certifications:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS) - Upon Hire minimum If ACLS is through ARC BLS is not required
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Upon Hire minimum If candidate has AHA BLS is required
RN State License - Upon Hire minimum Current RN license in the state of California
