RN Details

• 10 Hours, 40hrs per week or as needed.
• Days (No weekends, no holidays)

DHS/LA County–Olive View UCLA Medical Center is currently in need of a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) with a minimum of 5–7 years of Operating Room (OR) experience at a managerial level in the perioperative setting, including:

• Post Anesthesia Unit
• Same Day Surgery
• Central Processing Services
• Surgery Scheduling

The CNM should have comprehensive experience in:

• Orthopedics
• Robotics
• Ophthalmology
• ENT
• Plastic Surgery
• Gynecology
• Urology
• Vascular
• Podiatry
• Thoracic Surgery
• General Surgery

The CNM must have knowledge in circulating and assisting during a wide range of surgical procedures, demonstrate a thorough understanding of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols across multiple specialties. The CNM must also be adaptable, able to anticipate surgical team needs, and capable of providing support in both complex and routine procedures while ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow in the operating room.

• Active Registered Nurse License
• AHA BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• MAB or CPI
• LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)
• Completion of LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to assignment start date

• Required:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Preferred:
  Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
