Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Emergency Room Nurse

Provides comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients promptly upon arrival and gather relevant health information.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the acuity levels and needs of ER patients.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families to facilitate seamless care delivery.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing staff and coordinate emergency interventions.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent RN experience in acute or emergency care.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• ACLS certification mandatory, obtained from an approved vendor.
• Epic experience required for documentation and workflow management.
• Ability to work night shifts, with flexibility to handle a fast-paced environment.
