Travel Med Surg/Tele RN

Provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry, administering medications, preparing patients for procedures, documenting care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing multiple patients, and ensuring safety and infection control standards.

Requires at least one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS. Must possess strong critical thinking, communication, technical, and interpersonal skills, along with physical ability to perform clinical tasks and adapt to varying situations.

Explain procedures, administer treatments, conduct assessments, document patient information, advocate for patients, facilitate discharge planning, and adhere to safety protocols. Must work effectively with diverse healthcare personnel and maintain professionalism under pressure.
