Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Locations:Downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena, Glendora,Covina, Beaumont, Burbank, Downey, Santa Monica
Schedule: Full-Time | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Part-Time available in some locations

We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join a fast-growing urgent care organization with multiple locations throughout the Los Angeles area. This is an excellent opportunity for providers who thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, enjoy practicing with a high degree of autonomy, and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Providers work three 12-hour shifts per week and play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
  • Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing
  • Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications within scope of practice
  • Perform urgent care procedures as needed
  • Manage patient flow and ensure efficient throughput
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care
  • Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent situations
Qualifications
  • Current national board certification (AANPCB or ANCC)
  • Current NCCPA certification
Required for All Candidates
  • Minimum of 1 year of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of solo provider experience
  • Active DEA registration
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
