RN Corrections Opportunity
We have an excellent RN Corrections opportunity with Los Angeles County Department of Health Services
- Juvenile Hall and are actively seeking experienced nurses to start as soon as possible!
Location:
Los Angeles, CA Facility:
Los Angeles County Department of Health Services
- Juvenile Hall Contract Length: 16 Weeks 40 Hours Per Week
Start Date:
ASAP
Camp Kilpatrick
- Malibu, CA (female nurses ONLY-will be working with female adolescent/teens).
Shifts:
- NOC shift: 10p-6:30a OR
- Evenings: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 Years Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Experience
- Prior Med/Surg or ER Experience Required
- Experience w/ Blood Draws and IV Starts
- BLS Certification
- Psych Skills Checklist Score of 3.0 or Higher (self scoring- I'll initiate for you)

Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
- Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
