RN Corrections Opportunity

We have an excellent RN Corrections opportunity with Los Angeles County Department of Health Services
- Juvenile Hall and are actively seeking experienced nurses to start as soon as possible!

Location:

Los Angeles, CA Facility:
Los Angeles County Department of Health Services
- Juvenile Hall Contract Length: 16 Weeks 40 Hours Per Week

Start Date:

ASAP

Camp Kilpatrick
- Malibu, CA (female nurses ONLY-will be working with female adolescent/teens).

Shifts:

• NOC shift: 10p-6:30a OR
• Evenings: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 Years Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Experience
• Prior Med/Surg or ER Experience Required
• Experience w/ Blood Draws and IV Starts
• BLS Certification
• Psych Skills Checklist Score of 3.0 or Higher (self scoring- I'll initiate for you)

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
