About the PositionWe are seeking a compassionate, highly motivated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our oncology/hematology specialty clinic in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time opportunity.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and manage oncology/hematology patients throughout the continuum of care.
- Obtain comprehensive histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
- Monitor treatment response, symptoms, and potential treatment-related complications.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and supportive care.
- Coordinate care with oncologist, primary care providers, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
- Minimum one year experience as PA or NP
- Current California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
- Prescriptive authority in California (including DEA license Schedules 3-5)
- National board certification appropriate to the provider's discipline.
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
- Oncology or hematology-oncology experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Bilingual desired
