Med Tech

Belmont Village Westwood in Los Angeles seeks a Med Tech to support residents in assisted living and memory care. In this role, you'll accurately pass medications, perform basic clinical tasks within scope, document care, and monitor residents' status. You'll work closely with nurses and caregivers to support care plans, respond to changes, and ensure safety and comfort. This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and compassion while interacting with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents per physician orders and community protocols
• Verify, document, and maintain accurate medication records and MARs
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and condition changes
• Report changes in resident status promptly to licensed nursing staff
• Assist with basic clinical and caregiving tasks within scope and training
• Follow care plans and collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other team members
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant medication room and work area
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents and families
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and safety policies at all times
• Participate in ongoing training and support a resident-first, team-oriented culture
