American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Level IV NICU position requiring 2 years of Level IV NICU experience and CA RN licensure.

• Level IV NICU setting within a hospital
• Patients under 12 years of age, including pre-/post-op cardiac and surgical cases
• Day shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Float to PICU/Peds depending on census

• Active CA RN license required, pending licenses not accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS
• 2 years of Level IV NICU experience required
• Above-average confidence and competence with CVCs, vents, drips, trachs, and GTs required

• Perform nursing physical assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress toward established care goals
• Implement interventions aligned with care plan goals and reassess as needed
• Delegate tasks using a leadership style that promotes teamwork
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff on clinical and care issues
• Navy scrubs required
• At least one previous travel assignment required
