ICU Nurse – Critical Care

Nights 1900–0730; 36- or 48-hour shifts available. At least 6 weekend shifts required every 6-week period.

This position will float to various units including MS/Tele/PCU, Overflow PACU, and Stepdown as needed.

• Active California RN license at time of submission.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Proficient in pulmonary artery (PA) line/Swan-Ganz experience.
• Charting experience with Epic preferred.

• Provide high-acuity nursing care to patients in various critical care settings.
• Utilize advanced monitoring techniques and manage complex medical interventions.
• Administer medications and fluids as prescribed, including blood products.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans based on patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Completion of a pre-start orientation and training modules is required. On-site EKG exam on the first day of orientation must be passed to continue in the contract.
