Eisner Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our clinical team and provide comprehensive outpatient women's health care across the lifespan. This is an opportunity to practice with a high degree of autonomy while being supported by an experienced, interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about women's health, values evidence-based and culturally responsive care, and enjoys building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients.

The position focuses on outpatient women's health and gynecologic care and does not include intrapartum or labor and delivery services.

Position Summary

The CNM/WHNP provides comprehensive outpatient women's health services from adolescence through menopause, including preventive, reproductive, and gynecologic care. The clinician exercises independent clinical judgment in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients and collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals when consultation, co-management, or referral is appropriate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient women's health, reproductive, and gynecologic care across the lifespan.
  • Provide preventive and routine well-woman care, including health assessments, screening, counseling, and health promotion.
  • Provide contraceptive counseling and family-planning services.
  • Evaluate and manage common gynecologic conditions and reproductive health concerns.
  • Provide prenatal and postpartum care within the clinician's education, certification, scope of practice, and organizational privileges.
  • Obtain comprehensive medical, gynecologic, and reproductive histories and perform appropriate physical examinations.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in partnership with patients.
  • Order, perform, and accurately interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic women's health conditions within scope of practice.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with applicable regulations, organizational policies, and approved formularies.
  • Perform appropriate office-based procedures within training, certification, scope of practice, and organizational privileges.
  • Perform limited obstetric ultrasound, as applicable, in accordance with training, certification, clinical guidelines, and organizational policies.
  • Provide patient education, counseling, and shared decision-making related to reproductive health, sexual health, preventive care, and overall well-being.
  • Identify risk factors, abnormal findings, and conditions requiring additional evaluation, physician consultation, co-management, or referral.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
