Doctor's Assistant

VCA Animal Specialty & Emergency Center is seeking Doctors Assistants to join the Cardiology and Surgery Department at our AAHA‑accredited, 24-hour emergency and multi-specialty practice in West Los Angeles, California.

ASEC is high volume, AAHA accredited, state-of-the-art specialty referral and 24-hour critical care hospital located in West Los Angeles. We are a fast paced teaching hospital that provides an amazing learning environment and a rewarding caseload. We pride ourselves on our dedicated and compassionate technical and non-technical staff as well as our team of amazing specialists, senior clinicians, and interns. Team members who have a strong desire to learn and great communication skills are a must.

All applicants should be proficient at the following skills:

• Experience with computers, phones, and billing is a must.
• Experience in the veterinary field is recommended but not required.

Ideally seeking full‑time employees (four 10‑hour shifts per week). Compensation: $22/hr – $28/hr dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule and additional responsibilities.
