Safety, Quality and CI Manager - Corrugated Packaging

George Thomas has partnered with a corrugated packaging manufacturer who are hiring for a Quality, Safety and CI Manager for their box plant in the Greater Los Angeles region.

You will lead the charge in implementing safety, health, and environmental policies to ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and company regulations.

This position reports into the General Manager.

• Cultivate a culture of Safety, Environmental, and Quality excellence
• Ensure compliance with best practices and policies.
• Conduct regulatory assessments for compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Develop strategies to improve ergonomics, air quality, and workplace safety.
• Establish and track Key Process Indicators (KPIs) using Statistical Process Control.
• Lead new hire Safety & Quality training.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement Action Plans to mitigate hazards.
• Train facility personnel on Total Quality principles.
• Address critical quality defects in collaboration with customers and leadership.

• Minimum 5 years of progressive quality and safety experience in the Corrugated Packaging industry.
• Expertise in Total Quality Management or similar processes.
• Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations and Safety techniques.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Proven leadership in Safety and Quality initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in EHS/Quality preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and database management.
