Quality Control Manager​/Aerospace

Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Control Manager/Aerospace for a direct hire opportunity in Pacoima, CA. This management-level role supports quality engineering and quality control activities within an aerospace and precision manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on compliance, root cause analysis, corrective action, nonconforming material, audits, and continuous improvement. • Support quality engineering and quality control activities within an aerospace and precision manufacturing operation.
• Lead or participate in root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action activities.
• Support MRB processes, nonconforming material review, internal and external audits, and Quality Management System requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, inspection requirements, and manufacturing documentation for quality compliance.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and improve process performance.
• Support customer and supplier quality issues, First Article requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support aerospace quality engineering activities, including compliance, inspection planning, and production quality support.
• Lead corrective action, preventive action, and root cause analysis initiatives.
• Support MRB, nonconforming material, audits, and Quality Management System requirements.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to review drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Experience in quality control, quality engineering, or quality management within aerospace, defense, precision manufacturing, or a closely related environment.
• Strong understanding of root cause analysis, corrective action, preventive action, and nonconforming material processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, inspection requirements, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience supporting audits, Quality Management System requirements, customer quality concerns, and supplier quality issues.
• Knowledge of First Article requirements and aerospace quality expectations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Prior management or lead-level experience in an aerospace manufacturing quality environment.
• Experience working with MRB activities, supplier quality, customer audits, and continuous improvement projects.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards, precision machining, fabricated components, or regulated manufacturing environments.
