Postdoctoral Scholar - Douglas Black Lab
A postdoctoral position is available in the Douglas Black Laboratory in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The Black Lab studies mechanisms regulating pre-mRNA splicing in mammalian cells, with particular focus on the nervous system and the mis-regulation of splicing in disease. Our work applies a range of methods including RNA/protein biochemistry, genomics and bioinformatics, structural biology, and genome edited stem cell and mouse models.
