Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate - Cancer Genomics and Therapeutics

We are the USC Alfred

E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy, seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate to join our translational genomics and experimental therapeutics lab focused on acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

• Processing and analyzing clinical samples.
• Conduct cellular, molecular, and in vivo experiments for hypothesis-driven research.
• Perform computational and bioinformatic analyses.
• Prepare presentations and publish scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator.

• Ph.D. with a successful publication record in scholarly journals.
• Proficient in routine molecular biology techniques for genomics/epigenomic studies and functional studies in cellular and mouse models.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑throughput assays and next‑generation sequencing‑based platforms, and preclinical studies using leukemia mouse models.
• Strong background in cancer biology, immunology and computational biology, bioinformatics, or biostatistics.
• Computational skills including experience with bioinformatic tools and packages, data mining for ‘omics’ datasets, or developing pipelines/software for large biological datasets.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams.

Annual salary: $70,304.
