Postdoctoral Scholar – Research Associate

Opportunity for candidates committed to a career in molecular biology, genomics, or epigenomics. The position involves high‑throughput sequencing epigenomics assays (wet lab). The trainee will lead multiple research projects under the direction of the Principal Investigator and work as part of a collaborative research team to fight cancer.
Responsibilities and Duties- Perform genomic and epigenomic experiments using molecular biology techniques in human cells and tissues.
- Develop novel approaches to profile three‑dimensional epigenome and perform gene/epigenetic editing.
- Conduct cellular and molecular experiments for hypothesis‑driven research.
- Prepare presentations and publish scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator.
- Teach techniques to other lab members.
- Possess a PhD or be near completion of a PhD/DPhil in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Genetics, Biology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with genomic technologies is essential.
- Experience with antibodies (western blot, immunoprecipitation, etc.) and standard molecular biology techniques (PCR, DNA extraction, cloning, gel electrophoresis).
- Experience in performing epigenomic assays (CRISPR/Cas9, DNA methylation, ChIP‑seq, ATAC‑seq, Hi‑C) is a plus but not required.
- Ability to learn new techniques quickly and demonstrate strict attention to detail in experimental protocols.
Annual base salary range: $54,080.00 – $62,400.00.
Qualities and Experience- Minimum education:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate obtained within the previous three years. - Minimum experience:
0–1 year in a related research field. - Field:
Directly related education in research specialization with advanced knowledge of equipment, procedures, and analysis methods.
