The mission of CREWHS is to improve the health and care of women through all life stages by fostering innovation in research, clinical care, education, and policy.
CREWHS aims to facilitate multidisciplinary sex‑based research by:

- Creating a public awareness campaign to address the critical gap in knowledge about women’s health.
CREWHS is led by a multidisciplinary steering committee with 11 members from seven departments. In the last four years the committee awarded 17 research grants, resulting in 4 new R01s and multiple publications.
