Overview
We are looking for a Chemist II with hands‑on experience in analytical techniques such as FTIR, ICP‑MS, LC‑UV/LC‑MS, and GC‑FID/MS. The role supports new product development through qualitative and quantitative analysis of raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and non‑routine qualitative and quantitative analyses of raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products using FTIR, ICP‑MS, LC‑UV/LC‑MS, GC‑FID/MS, and other techniques.
- Develop and improve analytical methods; validate methods in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support product development activities by executing analytical testing, compatibility studies, and development plans.
- Apply chemistry knowledge to method development, data interpretation, and troubleshooting analytical challenges.
- Conduct exploratory research to produce new knowledge and potential products; conceive, organize, promote, and execute ideas to increase chemistry’s role in product discovery.
- Develop research proposals to provide a technically and economically sound basis for new or improved products and analytical techniques.
- Recommend utilization of results or changes in scope or termination of projects.
- Prepare and review technical documents including protocols, reports, and data sheets for analytical parameters.
- Perform analytical work in compliance with cGMP, regulatory standards, and safe laboratory practices; document variances appropriately.
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant analytical experience.
- Master’s degree with 0+ years of relevant experience.

Benefits & CompensationCompetitive salary: USD $76,000 – $128,000 for U.S. locations (excluding Puerto Rico).
