Purpose Statement/
Position Summary:
The Research Postdoctoral Fellow is a trainee position designed to develop the academic knowledge, research expertise, teaching skills, and administrative experience necessary for a successful career as an independent researcher. This role conducts laboratory work and research activities in the field of regenerative ophthalmology, both independently and in collaboration with the Principal Investigator and other research team members. Responsibilities include designing and performing experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, contributing to scientific manuscripts and research publications, and presenting findings to the scientific community.
The Research Postdoctoral Fellow also participates in seminars, meetings, training programs, and other educational activities to further develop research, leadership, and professional skills while advancing innovative research in regenerative ophthalmology.
Minimum Qualifications /
Work Experience:
Exposure to and/or experience in research in a healthcare environment preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certification: MD and/or PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree. Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree by their anticipated start date.
