Job QualificationsRequired:
- Education & experience equivalent to a Master's degree in engineering, mathematical computational, or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to determine priorities, establish research methodology, and coordinate all related research activities of the research projects in order to analyze results and make recommendations.
- Ability to manage multi-functional and multi-disciplinary research programs.
- Ability to organize and work out techniques for research projects.
- Ability to oversee numerous laboratory personnel to support day-to-day laboratory research functions. Ability to develop and support solutions to complex computational research problems. Demonstrated administrative and research skills to project manage research projects.
- Previous experience in standardizing new techniques and disseminating methodologies. Skill in scientific and technical writing on a variety of subject matter to facilitate publishing in research journals.
- Skill in setting long-term planning goals, including planning, directing, controlling and evaluating the research projects to ensure benchmarks are met.
- Expertise in grant writing and Federal, State, and provide industry funding requirements. Overall up-to-date knowledge of computational medicine fields, in order to provide assistance to a diverse group of faculty and interests.
