The primary role of a Bartender is to effectively serve food and beverage selections to our guests. Their job duties require style and service attributes that are key to creating a positive guest experience.

As a Bartender, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience—delivering exceptional food and beverage service with style, accuracy, and genuine hospitality. You’ll prepare and serve drinks efficiently, enter orders accurately into the MICROS/POS system, and maintain thorough knowledge of menus, brand selections, pricing, and garnishes. You’ll communicate closely with the kitchen regarding wait times, specials, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to ensure a seamless dining experience.

You’ll also maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar, handle cash and room charges according to hotel procedures, and ensure responsible alcohol service by checking identification and monitoring guest consumption. Throughout every shift, you’ll conduct yourself professionally, resolve guest concerns promptly, and contribute to a positive, team‑focused work environment while upholding all Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel policies and standards.

We’re looking for a service‑driven professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and genuinely enjoys engaging with guests. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent customer service skills, including warm greetings, attentive listening, and the ability to manage difficult situations with composure. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively and support team success. You should be detail‑oriented, dependable, comfortable handling cash, and confident in using suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.
