Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Plastpro, a leading manufacturer of high-quality fiberglass entry door systems, is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead and grow its retail sales organization. This role is responsible for driving retail revenue, managing and developing the sales team, and expanding strategic relationships with existing and new retail partners, including large national merchandisers.
This position is ideal for a hands-on, results-driven sales leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution in a manufacturing-driven, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute retail sales strategies to ensure strong market positioning and revenue growth
- Drive retail sales performance and develop new retail and national account relationships
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, including account managers and customer service representatives
- Recruit, hire, and onboard sales account managers
- Identify individual and team training needs and provide ongoing coaching and accountability
- Travel to maintain relationships with key customers and pursue new business opportunities
- Attend trade shows and industry conferences to monitor sales trends and identify new opportunities
- Manage sales activities to achieve planned volume, pricing, market share, and revenue targets
- Oversee product pricing, special quotations, and rebate programs to maximize profitability
- Provide market analysis, sales forecasts, and regular updates to support production planning
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where needed
- Prepare sales plans and progress reports for senior management
- Recommend and implement operational and process improvements to increase sales effectiveness
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of five (5) years of sales management experience, preferably in retail, building products, or manufacturing
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop sales teams
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Experience with pricing strategy, forecasting, rebates, and market analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Willingness to travel as required
