Both roles are critical members of the store leadership team, partnering closely with the Store Manager to bring ALO’s business strategy, premium guest experience and operational excellence to life.

The Opportunity

As an Assistant Store Manager at ALO, you will be accountable for driving performance, elevating talent and ensuring our store operates at the highest standard. While each role has a distinct focus, both leaders are united by one north star, delivering an exceptional guest experience in a premium, high‑energy environment.

Assistant Store Manager – Sales & Service

The Sales & Service Manager is a member of the store leadership team who deals with ALO’s business and guest experience strategy to life in store. This individual is passionate about business targets, sales, guest experience, and elevating talent to meet ALO’s guiding principles. This role’s north star is pointed at ensuring that guest experience in the store is exceptional. Duties require constant movement in and around the store, including the sales floor and back of house.

When not actively assisting guests, this position takes initiative to perform other tasks, as needed, to keep store clean, safe, inviting and operating efficiently.

  • Investigate and root cause sales opportunities, partnering with the General Manager to upscale process or system gaps
  • Oversee the Sales & Service team to execute an exceptional guest experience on the floor through assessing the level of guest connection and technical product education and supporting team members to address gaps through feedback and coaching
  • Continue to build the client relationship daily with our customers
  • Ensure effective sales floor coverage through the development of workforce solutions and leading selling initiatives throughout the store as needed
  • Partner with the General Manager to build the Sales & Service strategy for the store and execute implementation with the Sales & Service team
Assistant Store Manager – Operations & Visual

This leader brings ALO’s operational and visual standards to life. Your focus is inventory integrity, visual merchandising execution, operational discipline and store readiness.

  • Oversee and support execution of key operational and visual processes
  • Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General Manager to upscale process or system gaps
  • Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor by leveraging business performance data
  • Support sell-through management by ensuring accuracy of inventory counts and coordinates labor hours to efficiently receive product deliveries
  • Supports a safe work environment and efficient operation
Experience Qualifications (both Opportunities)
  • 3‑5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment
  • Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability
  • Requires constant movement in and around all areas of the store

  • Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
  • Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
