Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)Key Holder
- Designated Keyholders are entrusted with opening and closing the boutique, securing company assets, managing POS procedures, overseeing daily operations, supporting the sales team, resolving client concerns within their level of authority, and ensuring all company policies, operational standards, and safety procedures are consistently upheld in the absence of senior management
- Deliver a personalized, high-touch experience from first greeting through follow-up
- Build genuine client relationships, developing familiarity with style preferences, lifestyle, and purchase history
- Contribute to clienteling efforts including outreach, styling appointments, and in-store events in partnership with the Store Manager
- Drive daily and weekly sales goals through attentive selling and a genuine desire to help each client find what they love
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge (ie: fabric, construction, fit, care, and styling)
- Share client feedback, product requests, and trend observations with the Store Manager to inform buying and merchandising decisions
- Participate in community activations, in-store events, and local brand moments as needed
- Maintain impeccable store presentation aligned with XíRENA’s visual standards
- Execute seasonal floor sets and replenishment to keep the sales floor organized
- Ensure fitting rooms, displays, and product areas are consistently styled and restocked throughout the shift
- Process transactions accurately via POS (sales, returns, and exchanges)
- Assist with inventory receiving, stock organization, and back-of-house upkeep
- Participate in cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock accuracy processes as directed
- Adhere to all loss prevention policies and store safety procedures
- 2-5 years of retail experience, preferably in contemporary, premium, or luxury fashion
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Comfortable with POS systems and basic retail operations
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and retail peak periods as required
- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
- This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead, and lift and carry merchandise up to 30 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities in accordance with applicable law.
