We are looking for a Men's Buyer. The ideal candidate will lead buying and merchandising strategies across our retail stores and e-commerce, building location-specific assortments that hit volume targets. This role is responsible for executing seasonal buys, analyzing weekly selling data, and partner with Planning. We are looking for someone who is curious, obsessed with the story behind the numbers, and brings a sharp instinct for men's apparel.
Responsibilities- Help lead merchandising and buying strategies for Retail Stores and E-commerce, delivering consumer-focused location assortments and identifying key volume drivers for the men's business
- Partner closely with Merchandising and Planning to shape seasonal product initiatives and inform future product development needs across retail regions
- Analyze and present weekly selling recaps by product and store, surfacing in-season opportunities (chase, consolidations, rebalance) and insights that shape future-season buys
- Serve as a key player in the Buy Planning process, executing seasonal buys for specific Retail Stores and E-commerce that balance brand vision within our product strategy
- Communicate and partner with Merchants, Retail Stores, Visual Merchandising, and E-commerce teams to drive high sell-thru, and channel direct customer feedback from the field into smarter future buys
- 3+ years of experience in buying or merchandise planning, preferably in apparel or specialty retail
- Advanced Excel skills
- Highly analytical with strong merchant instincts and a sharp eye for the story behind the numbers
- Excellent communicator of inventory strategies, analysis, and recommendations across teams
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent understanding of American vintage apparel a plus
- Incredibly curious

Here at Buck Mason, we're all about transparency and fairness, especially when it comes to compensation. The base salary range for this role is $90,000-$110,000.
