About the RoleOLIVE YOUNG US is looking for an analytical Supply Chain Management (SCM) professional to optimize inventory distribution across our retail and e-commerce networks. This role focuses on maximizing product availability, executing precise store replenishment, and balancing omnichannel stock levels to minimize lost sales and prevent excess inventory.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven specialist who can validate system-generated recommendations against actual market trends and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Allocation:
Allocate available inventory at the Distribution Center (DC) across online channels and physical retail stores based on demand priorities. - Store Replenishment:
Execute store replenishment orders (DC > Stores) to ensure optimal stock distribution, minimizing stockouts and holding costs. - System Validation:
Review and rigorously audit system-generated order quantity recommendations for store replenishment. - Data Analysis:
Monitor the accuracy of suggested order quantities and validate them against real-time sales trends and inventory performance metrics. - Order Adjustments:
Adjust order quantities proactively when necessary to reflect actual consumer demand and dynamic operational conditions.
- Experience:
3-5 years of relevant experience in Demand Forecasting, Ordering, Inventory Control, and Logistics Management. - Language:
Professional working proficiency in both English and Korean (Capable of conducting business and collaborating seamlessly in both languages). - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management (SCM), or related fields.
- Industry Background:
Strong background in e-Commerce and/or the Retail industry (Experience beyond traditional manufacturing or 3PL logistics is highly preferred). - SKU Management:
Proven experience managing large-scale SKU portfolios and complex inventory allocation operations. - Technical
Skills:
Advanced Excel proficiency with strong analytical skills; experience with other SCM planning tools, ERP, or data visualization systems is a plus. - Soft Skills:
High motivation for professional growth, with a proactive attitude toward taking on expanding responsibilities and challenges.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods during store and warehouse visits, with the capability to occasionally lift or move items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
