Tranformation Manager - Data

We are seeking a committed professional to spearhead the transformation of performance data within our organization. This full-time role is situated in Los Angeles, CA. The chosen individual will be tasked with establishing calculation methodologies, data standards, and quality benchmarks to guarantee that performance outcomes are consistent, comprehensible, and ready for audit as systems and processes advance.

This position functions at the intersection of performance operations, accounting, data governance, and technology, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to uphold accountability for the integrity and governance of performance data throughout the organization.

• Manage and oversee comprehensive performance data definitions and calculation methodologies across diverse strategies and asset classes.
• Develop and uphold authoritative rules and data standards for performance data throughout the platform lifecycle.
• Act as the principal business owner for performance calculation platforms, working alongside Technology and Data teams on strategic initiatives.
• Define and enforce standards for performance data quality, tolerance levels, and escalation procedures.
• Lead initiatives to harmonize performance methodologies and validate data during transitions between legacy and future platforms.
• Serve as the main escalation contact for inquiries related to performance methodology and calculations from Portfolio Management, Risk, and Reporting teams.
• Ensure that methodologies align with U.S. GAAP, investment company accounting principles, and reporting standards.

• 10 years of experience in performance operations, fund accounting, middle-office accounting, or investment data management.
• Extensive knowledge of performance calculation methodologies across multi-asset strategies.
• Strong accounting foundation, with familiarity in U.S. GAAP and investment company accounting concepts.
• Experience as a senior subject-matter expert or business owner for performance or investment data platforms.
• Proven involvement in system implementations or platform migrations, focusing on data standards and methodology alignment.
• Bachelor's degree required;
  Master's degree and/or CPA (active or in progress) strongly preferred.
