Pay

$16.78 per hour

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Receive training; orientation and on-the-job training provided.

Customer Service & Communication

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills

• Accurate and quick arithmetic (calculator may be used).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal and written communication for taking and processing orders.
• Eye–hand coordination to perform tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash or performing outdoor tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36 to 90+ degrees.
• Temperature changes in area and outdoors; fumes from food odors; cornmeal dust; cramped walk-in cooler; hot oven surfaces up to 500+ degrees; sharp edges and moving parts.

Sensing

• Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision; depth perception; differentiating hot and cold surfaces.

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements

• Standing:
  Most tasks performed while standing.
• Walking:
  Short distances for short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum; work surfaces 36"–48" high.
• Sitting:
  Paperwork often completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting:
  Deliveries weigh up to 50 pounds; cases stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying:
  Supplies and ingredients; carrying pizza sauce up to 30 pounds; dough trays weighing ~12 pounds per tray.
• Pushing/Pulling:
  Move trays on dollies; push/pull force up to ~7.5 pounds.
• Climbing/Stooping/Bending:
  Occasional stairs or ladder use; frequent bending at the pizza assembly station and front counter.
• Crouching/Squatting/Reaching:
  Occasional to frequent movements to stock, clean, and reach above 72" to operate ovens or signage.
• Hand Tasks:
  Frequent use of hands for dough shaping, cutting, boxing, and handling equipment and products.
• Machines/Tools:
  Pencils, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter and peel, etc.
