Brand Manager - Phoebe Philo

Job Overview The Brand Manager will be responsible for representing and developing the Phoebe Philo brand within the Dover Street Market environment. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the Phoebe Philo brand and the Dover Street Market team, ensuring that the brand’s identity, product presentation, customer experience, and commercial objectives are consistently upheld.

The Brand Manager will combine luxury retail leadership, brand management, client development, and operational execution. They will work closely with Dover Street Market management, Phoebe Philo representatives, visual merchandising, buying/merchandising, and retail teams to create an elevated and highly distinctive brand experience.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of luxury fashion and contemporary culture, exceptional clienteling skills, and the ability to operate confidently within a fast-paced, creative, and highly curated retail environment.

Key Responsibilities Brand Representation Serve as a brand representative for Phoebe Philo within Dover Street Market.

Maintain a deep understanding of the brand’s creative vision, aesthetic, history, product assortment, and design philosophy.

Ensure the Phoebe Philo brand is represented consistently and appropriately within the Dover Street Market environment.

Act as a liaison between Dover Street Market management and Phoebe Philo teams.

Communicate brand updates, product information, launches, initiatives, and expectations to the retail team.

Protect the integrity and exclusivity of the brand while operating within the broader Dover Street Market environment.

Retail & Client Experience Deliver an exceptional, highly personalized luxury client experience.

Develop and maintain relationships with local, national, and international clients.

Build and manage a strong client book through proactive outreach, appointments, product recommendations, and follow-up.

Develop a thorough understanding of individual client preferences, purchase history, and lifestyle.

Support private appointments, special client events, collection launches, and other brand experiences.

Introduce clients to the Phoebe Philo brand through thoughtful storytelling and exceptional product knowledge.

Represent the brand with discretion, professionalism, and a high level of service.

Identify opportunities to increase client engagement, retention, and sales.

Sales & Commercial Performance Take ownership of the commercial performance of the Phoebe Philo business within Dover Street Market.

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against established targets.

Analyze sales trends, product performance, sell-through, and customer behavior.

Identify opportunities to improve sales and maximize the performance of the assortment.

Partner with merchandising and management teams regarding product needs, inventory, replenishment, and assortment opportunities.

Provide regular feedback on customer response, product performance, and market trends.

Maintain strong awareness of the competitive luxury and contemporary fashion landscape.

Product Knowledge & Training Maintain exceptional knowledge of all Phoebe Philo collections, products, materials, craftsmanship, and design details.

Educate Dover Street Market staff on seasonal collections, key products, brand stories, and selling points.

Conduct or coordinate product and brand training as needed.

Ensure team members are equipped to communicate the brand's identity and product offering authentically.

Stay informed on upcoming launches, deliveries, collection changes, and brand initiatives.
