The Operations Associate maintains store inventory and stock areas according to company standards. The role supports accurate inventory control, merchandise handling, loss prevention, and the safeguarding of company assets.
Responsibilities- Maintain organized stock areas and records, and handle merchandise appropriately.
- Support receiving operations and follow inventory control procedures to minimize stock loss.
- Order supplies, maintain housekeeping standards, and help control expenses.
- Use inventory systems and equipment to process merchandise and complete documentation.
- Previous retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to read, count, write, and accurately complete documentation.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to stand for extended periods and lift and move merchandise and fixtures.
