Lighting Sales Representative at Light and Green

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Development – Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets; develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline; forecast future sales; achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and other industry stakeholders; conduct regular follow‑ups and maintain communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Product Knowledge – Understand our product lines, including technical specifications and design applications; provide expert guidance to clients on lighting solutions that meet their needs and project requirements.
  • Presentations and Demonstrations – Conduct product presentations and demonstrations; participate in trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote our brand and products.
  • Proposal Development – Prepare and present customized proposals and quotes; collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely project specifications.
  • Market Research and Analysis – Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies; gather client feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Administrative Duties – Maintain accurate records in the CRM; provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with marketing, product development, installation and support teams to align sales strategies with company goals and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Training and Development – Participate in ongoing training; share insights and best practices with teammates.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in architectural lighting or related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence clients.
  • Technical acumen and passion for innovative design and lighting solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or related field is preferred.

Salary – Base + commission.
