We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager – Minibulk to join a growing team in the chemical distribution industry. This home‑based role, located in the Los Angeles market, will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of minibulk customers while driving new business development across the region.
Position OverviewThe Account Manager will focus on selling and servicing minibulk chemical solutions to industrial customers. This role requires strong relationship management skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to identify growth opportunities within existing and new accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow an established territory within the Los Angeles area
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in industrial and commercial markets
- Maintain and expand relationships with current minibulk customers
- Provide product recommendations and technical support in collaboration with internal teams
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reporting
- 3+ years of Chemical distribution sales
- Experience selling bulk or minibulk chemicals is highly desirable
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation and account management skills
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a home‑based environment
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Chemistry, Business, or related field a plus)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong territory management skills
- Ability to manage complex customer needs and long sales cycles
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally to deliver solutions
- Driven, competitive, and customer‑focused
