Inside Sales, Customer Success Mgr./ CSM, Appointment Setter/ Scheduler
At Mood Health, we are working to make mental health care easier to access. For many people, reaching out for help is a big step. Our goal is to make that step feel simple, supportive, and welcoming. Our clinicians, including psychiatric nurse practitioners and therapists, provide therapy and medication management through secure video visits. Before someone ever meets their provider, they usually speak with someone on our team first.
That first conversation matters a lot.
We are looking for a Patient Acquisition Specialist within the Sales organization. You will be the initial point of contact for prospective patients from our partner clinics. The right person is motivated, personable, fast‑thinking, and comfortable working toward goals. You should be proactive, patient, and able to build trust when helping people move forward.
What You’ll Do- Be the first point of contact for new clients. Talk with people who are reaching out for mental health support and help them feel comfortable moving forward.
- Guide people through the booking process. This includes answering questions about availability, insurance, and next steps.
- Proactively follow up with referrals. Use phone, text, email, and customer management tools to connect with referral patients, follow up consistently, and keep the scheduling process moving.
- Build trust and overcome barriers. Listen, explain things clearly, build rapport, and thoughtfully address objections.
- Manage a high‑volume workflow. Handle inbound and outbound calls, texts, emails, cancellations, reschedules, and follow‑ups while staying organized across multiple systems.
- Communicate clearly and kindly. Work with clients by phone, text, and email in a professional and empathetic way.
- Work toward team goals. Achieve booking targets and performance goals to ensure prospective patients receive timely follow‑up.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, mental health, call centers, or a customer‑facing sales role.
- Motivated by reaching and exceeding goals.
- Sales‑mindful, but not pushy.
- Fast‑thinking and adaptable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Empathetic and comfortable speaking with people who may feel nervous or unsure.
- Organized and able to manage multiple systems and conversations at once.
- Experience with scheduling or support tools such as Hub Spot is helpful.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and strong respect for patient privacy.
- Ability to work weekends when needed.
Helping people access care—every appointment you schedule represents someone getting support they may have been putting off for months or years.
Performance bonuses – Competitive base salary plus meaningful bonuses tied to booking goals.
A supportive team environment – We work closely together and care about doing good work.
Room to grow – As Mood continues to expand, there will be opportunities to grow within the company.
Pay: $18 – $21 USD per hour.
