Architectural Sales Representative, Southern California

Commercial Building Products | Architects, GCs, and Glaziers | Base + Commission

About Nana Wall

Nana Wall is a premium architectural products company known for opening glass wall systems used in residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, education, and mixed-use spaces. We are expanding our Southern California sales presence and are looking for proactive, relationship-driven sales professionals who can build the market locally, influence projects early, and represent Nana Wall as a premium architectural solution.

Position Summary

This is a field-based sales role focused on developing commercial project opportunities by calling on architects, general contractors, glaziers, developers, owners, and other project influencers.

This is not an inbound-only sales role. We are looking for someone who can own a territory, create demand, build relationships, influence specifications, develop customer partnerships, and manage long-cycle project opportunities from early design through purchase.

The ideal candidate understands commercial construction, architectural products, project-based selling, and the importance of getting involved before a project reaches bid stage.

Territory

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a territory plan for your assigned market with at least 12 meaningful visits per week.
  • Become a product and subject matter expert on Nana Wall’s opening glass wall systems, including folding, sliding, frameless, acoustical, and high-performance product families, so you can confidently guide customers to the right solution for each application.
  • Build relationships with architects, designers, glaziers, developers, owners, general contractors, and project influencers.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value commercial opportunities in hospitality, restaurants, retail, commercial interiors, multifamily, mixed-use, stadiums/venues, aviation-adjacent projects, and premium commercial spaces.
  • Conduct product presentations, lunch-and-learns, AIA-style presentations, and project-specific product selection meetings.
  • Help project teams understand which Nana Wall systems best fit the application, performance needs, aesthetics, budget, and schedule. Support product selection and specification activity before projects reach bid stage.
  • Create, manage, and advance qualified opportunities through the sales process.
  • Track activity, project stage, quote status, decision makers, close timing, and next steps in CRM.
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up on open quotes, pending projects, and high-value opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal sales, estimating, technical, and leadership teams to support customer needs and project execution.

What Success Looks Like

A successful Architectural Sales Representative will increase Nana Wall’s presence in the assigned territory, build strong local relationships, create qualified project opportunities, improve quote follow-up, grow project count, and help shift the market to proactive demand creation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Sales experience in commercial construction, architectural products, building products, glazing, windows and doors, façade systems, specialty interiors, premium design products, or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to call on architects, general contractors, glaziers, builders, owners, developers, or design professionals and experience with project-based sales cycles.
  • Ability to understand basic architectural drawings, project schedules, specifications, or construction documents.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, and opportunities at different stages.
  • Comfortable using CRM to track activity, pipeline, quotes, and next steps.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and comfortable working in the field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing relationships with architects, glaziers, hospitality groups, developers, builders, GCs, or design professionals.
  • Experience selling premium or technical building products and experience influencing specifications before bid stage.
