Sales & Operations Manager – Mobile Crane Industry
Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 DOE + Performance Bonus & Commission Structure

We're a we
ll-established and growing mobile crane company serving commercial, industrial, utility, and construction clients throughout Southern California, and we're looking for the right leader to help take our business to the next level.
This is more than just a management position. You'll work side-by-side with ownership, helping shape the company's future while leading day-to-day operations, developing new business, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting our field and office teams. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of a long-term team where their ideas, leadership, and industry experience will truly make an impact.
What You'll Do
- Partner directly with the Owner on business growth, operations, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop new business while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
- Lead daily office operations and help improve internal processes and efficiencies.
- Coordinate projects from customer inquiry through successful completion.
- Work closely with dispatch to ensure efficient crane scheduling and fleet utilization.
- Support project planning, logistics, and operational execution.
- Prepare proposals, estimates, and customer quotations.
- Provide exceptional customer service while building long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate with operators, dispatchers, office staff, and customers to ensure seamless communication.
- Assist with marketing, networking, and promoting the company's services throughout Southern California.
- Help mentor and support a growing team while fostering a positive, customer-focused culture.
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE DIRECT MOBILE CRANE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE (NON-NEGOTIABLE).
- Experience in sales, business development, operations management, project management, or crane management.
- Strong understanding of crane operations, customer service, and project coordination.
- Dispatch or fleet coordination experience is a plus but not required.
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help grow a business.
- Dispatch experience is a plus
