• Our client is an established commercial flooring contractor serving the Southern California market with decades of success delivering flooring solutions for commercial construction projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Account Executive to develop new business and expand relationships with General Contractors and commercial construction clients throughout Southern California.
• The Account Executive will focus on consultative selling, business development, and relationship management with General Contractors specializing in commercial flooring projects throughout Southern California.

• Drive new business development by identifying, pursuing, and securing commercial flooring opportunities with General Contractors, developers, property owners, and commercial construction decision-makers throughout Southern California.
• Build and maintain relationships with General Contractors, architects, developers, project managers, estimators, and commercial construction professionals to generate repeat business and new project opportunities.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting through estimating coordination, proposal presentation, contract negotiation, project award, and project handoff.
• Partner with internal estimating and operations teams to develop competitive bids, accurate project pricing, and successful project execution.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, manage customer accounts within a CRM, track opportunities, and achieve revenue growth objectives.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, job sites, networking events, and industry functions throughout Southern California.

• Demonstrated experience selling within the commercial construction industry.
• Commercial flooring industry sales experience.
• Experience developing new business and managing customer relationships with General Contractors.
• Experience selling commercial flooring projects including carpet, resilient flooring, tile, wood flooring, polished concrete, or related commercial flooring products.
• Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through project award.
• Ability to collaborate with estimating, project management, and operations teams.
• Experience reading construction drawings, project specifications, bid documents, or commercial construction plans.
• Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Must be based in Southern California.

• Base salary in the 100k - 140k/year range, plus Performance Commissions and Bonus Incentive.
