Role DescriptionThis role is designed for a part‑time / contract high‑performance strength & conditioning coach who thrives at the intersection of rehabilitation and performance. You will collaborate directly with our clinical care team to create full‑spectra performance plans that help patients move from injury > resilience > peak performance.
There is clear opportunity for this role to expand in scope, hours, and leadership responsibility as the performance division and clinic scale.
What Success Looks Like in This RoleIn the first 3–6 months, success includes:
- Clients transitioning smoothly and confidently from rehab into performance training
- Strong communication and collaboration with the clinical team
- High‑quality, individualized programming that reflects NŪ Anatomy’s standards
- Consistent client engagement, adherence, and positive feedback
- Contribution to a professional, aligned training environment
As the clinic grows, success also includes demonstrating readiness for expanded responsibility, leadership, or increased involvement within the strength & performance division.
Key Responsibilities 1:1 Personalized CoachingCoach 1:1 and small‑group strength & conditioning sessions
Train clients transitioning from rehab, recreational athletes, and active adults
Deliver programs focused on strength, movement quality, resilience, and performance
Build strong rapport with clients to foster trust, confidence, and long‑term adherence
Support Return‑to‑Performance PathwaysApply a rehab‑informed approach to training, emphasizing joint integrity, load management, and progression
Collaborate with clinicians to support safe and effective transitions from therapy to performance
Implement movement assessments and progressions as appropriate
Contribute to the Performance EnvironmentUphold programming standards and coaching quality within the training space
Support a professional, aligned, and high‑quality client experience
Contribute ideas or feedback that help strengthen systems and performance workflows over time
QualificationsMinimum 3+ years experience as a personal trainer or strength & conditioning coach
Experience working with athletes, performers, or high‑level recreational clients
Strong foundation in:
- Biomechanics and movement principles
- Progressive overload and program design
- Injury‑aware / rehab‑informed training
Clear communication skills and comfort collaborating within a clinical team
PreferredExperience working alongside physical therapists or in a clinical setting
CSCS or equivalent advanced strength & conditioning certification
Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Biomechanics, or related field
This role is intentionally designed to start part‑time / contract
